Terms of Service

Last updated: March 21, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using PriceGuard, you agree to these Terms of Service and any policies referenced in them.

PriceGuard is operated by Marceli Podstawski, ul. Węglowa 69, 41-608 Świętochłowice, Poland, NIP: PL6272632154, contact: [email protected].

2. Service Description

PriceGuard is a price monitoring service that allows users to track their own product prices and selected competitor product pages.

The service may include:

  • scheduled price checks,
  • manual checks,
  • price history and alerting,
  • subscription billing and invoice access,
  • account support through the contact form.

PriceGuard is intended for business use. If you use the service on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

3. Billing And Subscription

PriceGuard uses a subscription and usage-based billing model.

The current self-service plans are:

  • Starter: 9 EUR per month, 1,000 included product price checks per month, and 0.004 EUR for each additional product price check above the included monthly allowance,
  • Growth: 19 EUR per month, 5,000 included product price checks per month, and 0.003 EUR for each additional product price check above the included monthly allowance,
  • self-service usage up to 50,000 product price checks per month on each plan.

For billing purposes, one successful price fetch for one tracked product URL or competitor URL counts as one product price check.

Payments are processed by Paddle. Customers may be redirected to Paddle checkout or the Paddle billing portal to start, manage, or cancel a subscription.

Invoices, payment methods, and billing status depend in part on Paddle systems and webhook synchronization.

PriceGuard may update plans, included usage, overage pricing, or self-service limits from time to time. Material pricing changes for an existing subscription should be communicated before they take effect.

Customers may request a refund within 14 days of the original purchase.

For subscriptions, customers may request a refund within 14 days of the most recent renewal payment.

Refund handling is subject to Paddle buyer terms and the refund process operated by Paddle.

4. Cancellation And Access

If a subscription is canceled or becomes inactive, access to monitoring features may be limited or removed.

PriceGuard may restrict:

  • product monitoring,
  • competitor monitoring,
  • alerting workflows,
  • scheduled scraping dispatch,

until an active subscription is restored.

PriceGuard may also suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, investigate abuse, respond to legal requirements, or enforce these Terms.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • providing accurate account information,
  • using the platform lawfully,
  • ensuring that monitored URLs belong to pages you are authorized to track,
  • ensuring that your use of the service does not violate contractual restrictions, intellectual property rights, website terms, or applicable law,
  • not using the service to access private, authenticated, or restricted areas without authorization,
  • not attempting to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or misuse the service or its infrastructure.

You are also responsible for reviewing your billing, invoice, and usage information in the application or in the Paddle billing portal.

6. Availability And Accuracy

The service may change and may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, development work, or testing.

Price data, alerts, usage counts, and billing synchronization may be delayed or affected by:

  • website availability,
  • anti-bot protection,
  • queue delays,
  • scraper failures,
  • third-party billing issues.

7. Alerts and Notifications

Price alerts and email notifications are generated automatically based on collected data. They may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.

By creating an account and using PriceGuard, you agree that PriceGuard may send service-related communications connected to the operation of the service, including information about:

  • changes to these Terms,
  • changes to pricing or billing rules,
  • billing failures or subscription status,
  • important product or service updates.

If PriceGuard offers optional marketing communications, they will be handled separately from mandatory service-related messages.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PriceGuard is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, perfect accuracy, or fitness for a particular commercial purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PriceGuard is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or loss-of-profit damages arising from use of the service, third-party website changes, anti-bot measures, data delays, or billing provider failures.

9. Changes

PriceGuard may update the service, its features, pricing, and these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms take effect when published unless a different effective date is stated.

10. Contact

For support, billing questions, privacy requests, or account issues, use the contact form available on the PriceGuard website or contact [email protected].
